Q: Can I share my stories about my own mom on this site?
A: YES! Pearls From My Mom is designed to be a collaborative space for you to share your stories and experiences with the community. Share as much as you want, as often as you want.
Q: Who is this site for?
A: This is a space for anyone who wants to share and/or read pearls of wisdom given to them by the important people in their lives.
Q: I would love to share pearls of wisdom from my mom who is still alive, can I do that?
A: Absolutely! There is no wrong time to share the wonderful things your mom has taught you. It is my hope that anyone at any stage of their relationship with their mom feel comfortable sharing here. Please feel free to share stories and pearls from your mom at any time!
Q: What if I want to share pearls of wisdom from someone else, other than my mom?
A: Please do! Even though this site is called Pearls From My Mom, I would love to hear the pearls of wisdom that have been passed down to you by anyone you hold dear to your heart.
Q: How do I share my stories and pictures?
A: Click on the “Share My Pearls” button and create an account so you can keep track of your posts. Once you have created your post, it will get sent to the admin for approval. Once it is approved, it will appear on the site.
Q: Is this a safe space?
A: For sure. This is the reason the admin needs to approve posts before they go live. This is generally considered sensitive subject matter and we want to have a place where people will feel comfortable being themselves. Snarky comments, trolling, and bullying of any kind will not be tolerated on this site.
