I remember my mom taking the family to fly kites on Easter. I don’t think we did it every year and yet it became a tradition for us, at least in my mind. I think the act of flying kites is amazing: you’re learning a new skill, it’s whimsical, you get to be outdoors, you don’t have to take it too seriously, and it’s fun for kids and adults.
